Skin rashes are really uncomfortable to the patients.

Causes of skin rash

Serious types of skin rashes are usually causes by allergic reactions. Disorder of certain immune system or certain poisonous byproducts of an infection may also lead to development of skin rash. Blasters are formed in the skin rashes when the proteins that connect layers of the skin are attached.

Because the proteins holding them together or not working due to which the layers of skin come apart and fluid fills the space between them, thus forming the blister. Skin Rashes are commonly seen in diseases like Pemphigus, vulgaris, Stevens- Johns on syndrome, Toxic epidermal necrolysis, Staphylococcal scaled skin syndrome and Toxic Shock syndrome.

Pemphigus vulgaris is a disorder of the immune system. In this case the body’s natural immune system mistakenly identifies proteins within the body as foreign and begins the natural response to get rid of these foreign proteins producing antibodies to attack the foreign intruder.

In case of the Stevens-Johnson syndrome, skin rashes mainly occur due to severe type of allergic reaction to certain medications or infections. Antibiotics particularly sulpha-containing and medications given for seizures have also been associated with Stevens-Johns syndrome.

In case of Staphylococcal scaled skin syndrome, the bacteria produce a poison that is released into the blood stream and causes the typical skin rash. The underlying infection in children is a minor skin infection that often goes unnoticed.
