The skin is the largest organ in the human body and is composed of cells that keep dying and are frequently renewed. Skin care is essential for the prolongation of youthful looks both for women and men.
A healthy skin is characterized by slight moisture, softness, flexibility, a slight acidic reaction and the absence of blemishes and other skin problems. A healthy skin must possess a smooth, fine-grained texture and soft to touch.
The exposure to sun, cold, rain, heat, wind and water are the natural factors affecting the skin. The condition of the skin varies with the weather. During winters the skin tends to become dry and flaky. The summer season makes the skin oily. Therefore, both the seasons require different treatments. Along with the natural factors the diet, living style are also some of the factors affecting the skin.
